Quantum Detectors and Emitters and Their Robotic Manufacturing Cell (KVADERA)
Techvitas Robotika, UAB has signed an agreement for the implementation of the project “Quantum Detectors and Emitters and Their Robotic Manufacturing Cell” (KVADERA).
The project partners are Innovation Agency (administrating institution) and Integrated Optics, UAB (project executor). The project is co-financed by the European Union.
Project duration:
01/01/2024 – 17/06/2026
Total project value:
EUR 1,014,105
EU funding:
EUR 723,417
Project objective – to develop competitive laser sources and single-photon detectors for quantum applications by advancing robotic assembly technologies. KVADERA will contribute to promoting innovation supply in Lithuania by investing in the development of advanced photonics products and in research and experimental development activities.
The products developed under this project will be used for academic research and industrial applications related to quantum physics, computing, cryptography, particle analysis, drug development, and other fields that utilize narrow-spectrum, tunable lasers and single-photon detectors.
All these applications require reliable, compact, and cost-effective lasers and detectors, which are essential system components determining their performance and specifications.
